What Luke thinks...

I took Luke to the dr. today and he has a double ear infection=(. He is awfully happy for such a sick boy, the dr. couldn't believe it! He's been great other than at night! I am praying that a few doses of the antibiotic will do the trick for a good night's sleep!!!! This is his new face that he started doing a couple days ago! Oh, and he is a huge 17lb. 8oz., that is up almost 3 pounds from his 4 month checkup Dec.8th!!!

Luke loves his food!!

Luke really enjoys eating, you just can't tell at all by all the rolls!! We tried the carseat since he gets the bouncy seat moving 90 mph! He is still a moving target but its easier.

Lance has been lighting fires most evenings and the boys are enjoying not having to wear any clothes!! Anyone who knows Blake well, knows he really doesn't like clothes!!

We have started using the carseat for most feedings since he gets his bouncy seat moving too much, who knows what this face was all about!

Blake was heading to school on a cold day, so he wanted to wear a turtleneck and he just looked so darn cute! I was going through pics with his mom and Melissa yesterday, and he definately has his daddy's smile!!

Here Luke is on September 9th, we thought he was so big....

Now I think he really is!! He loves his bath. I usually am completely soaked when he is done splashing!!

He always has to have something in his mouth, he kept sticking his rag in, but he sure didn't like the water he was getting from it!!

Luke loves his food!!!

Luke is loving eating cereal twice a day now!! I think he's gonna be my eater, Blake eats just enough to survive. Wish I had his view of food!!



We started this day with prunes, the 2nd feeding of cereal had him a little stopped up.

How can anyone love those gross things??

This is the face I got when we switched to oatmeal with green beans! He is never thrilled with his green veggies, but I'm determined not to turn him orange as I did Blake!!

He is finally learning to open up!! Still gotta hold down those hands sometimes. He likes to suck his thumb between bites!!

Some hilites of Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year, as always! Christmas morning, Blake was so excited!! Until....

He unwrapped a baby wipe box! He was so sad!! I told him not to always believe the box and after some coaxing he opened it. Much to his surprise it was some really cool stuff, a new bath robe and slippers and bunches of John Deere ornaments for his tree!!

Aren't they so cute in their matching jammas!! He gave Luke a book. Dr. Seuss's ABC's. It was his favorite when he was little, we even went through a couple of them b/c they got so wore out!

He read it to him after he helped him open it!

Grammy got Luke some shades, and he doesn't mind them a bit!!

Blake was very sad when I finally put up the decorations on Monday and is already asking when it's time to put them back up!!!

The New Year

Many of my friends have started blogging to keep everyone updated and it seems like a good way!! The key for me is just keeping it updated, so we'll see....

Blake had a wonderful Christmas vacation and as much as I have missed him the last two days, it is kinda nice having some quiet around here. Luke has napped really well the last two days!!! He has been fighting a nasty cold and has not been sleeping much day or night, so naps are a blessing!! He is way to interested in Blake when he is home to bother with sleeping!

Blake is in my room playing with his favorite Christmas present (well, one of his favorites) right now...a real race track, and yes it is in my room. This little tiney condo is quickly being taken over by all these boys! Lance has just as much fun with the track as Blake so I guess that is why he thought it would be good in our room...

His first jump on his new trampoline, the net is there now, he just couldn't wait to jump!!!

Luke is growing like a weed and is thinking about sitting up on his own now!! I bet it won't be much longer!! He is wearing 6-9 month clothes now and is well over 16 pounds I bet! He is eating cereal twice a day and loves it! Now if he would start sleeping through the night again. I have figured out that he likes a routine and Christmas and then this cold have just totally geeked him up. But, last night he slept 5 hours straight. Which is much better than the 30 minutes or hour at a time that we have gotten since last Wednesday night...I soooooo almost called Grammy at 5am the other day, but I hate to give up so we just shook it off and kept patting that hiney!!
He reminds me of a gorilla when he sits like this!!

He loves to chew on everything! He tries to stick his whole hand in and has even made himself throw up from stuffing so much in...

Now he has discovered that toes are just as yummy!!

While Uncle Michael was here, we all went bowling and they had these great ramps for the kids, had never seen them before. Blake loved it!!


He is the top score, he did VERY well and kicked my hiney!!!

Blake thought that Luke needed a toy and when one is good, a bunch hanging all over is better!!!
